Next Media London – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Next Media London. By booking or using our studio facilities, you (“the Client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, professional, and fair experience for all Clients using our London media studio, podcast recording space, and content creation facilities.

1. Studio Use and Conduct
The Next Media London studio may only be used for lawful, professional, and creative activities such as podcasting, video production, photography, interviews, and media content creation.
The Client must be present at all times during the studio hire and ensure all activities remain within the premises.
Minors must always be supervised by a responsible adult.
Smoking, vaping, or the use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited inside the studio or building.

2. Responsibility and Damages
The Client is fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft involving the studio, its equipment, furniture, or facilities during the rental period.
Any repair, replacement, or cleaning costs resulting from misuse, spills, stains, or excessive wear will be charged to the Client.
The Client agrees to indemnify Next Media London for any third-party costs related to such damages.

3. Liability and Risk
The Client uses the Next Media London studio and equipment at their own risk.
Next Media London will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to the Client, their guests, or belongings during or after the studio session.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Next Media London, its owners, and staff from any claims or legal actions arising from their use of the studio.
The Studio provides equipment in good working order but cannot guarantee absolute performance or compatibility.
Next Media London is not responsible for interruptions caused by factors beyond its control, including power failures, network outages, or emergency events.

4. Intellectual Property and Copyright
The Client retains full ownership of all audio and video recordings created during their session.
However, Next Media London reserves the right to share behind-the-scenes visuals or non-confidential promotional material on its website or social media platforms for marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Client indemnifies the Studio against any copyright, intellectual property, or content-related claims resulting from their recordings or productions.

5. File Handling and Delivery
Clients are encouraged to bring their own SD cards, microSD cards, or external hard drives for immediate file transfer.
If file delivery is requested, the Studio will provide digital copies within 48–72 hours (excluding post-production or editing time).
The Studio will retain files for 14 days after the recording session. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted. It is the Client’s responsibility to request or back up files within this timeframe.
The Studio is not liable for corrupted, lost, or deleted files once they have been transferred or delivered.

6. Audio Quality and Editing
The Studio is not responsible for audio quality issues caused by improper microphone technique (e.g., incorrect placement or distance).
Any fixes or re-recordings requested due to misuse may incur an additional fee unless the fault is directly attributable to the Studio.
Editing and post-production services are not included unless previously agreed in writing.

7. Security and Privacy
Next Media London may use CCTV cameras for safety and security monitoring.
By renting the studio, the Client consents to this surveillance.
No audio from private sessions will be monitored or recorded by the Studio without consent.

8. Studio Storage and Materials
Unless otherwise agreed, the Studio will not store master tapes, memory cards, or backup copies.
Next Media London is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal media or equipment left on-site.

9. Limitation of Liability
The Studio is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including lost profits, recording errors, or failed projects.
In such cases, the Client’s sole remedy will be a refund or studio credit equivalent to the booked time.

10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
A full refund is available if the Client cancels within 24 hours of booking.
Clients may reschedule or request studio credit up to 72 hours before their scheduled start time.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session are not eligible for a refund, rescheduling, or credit.
